During my first year at UChicago, I realized that not only were my surroundings different, but also that my emotions about events, people, and places were different. I learned that my moods were often affected early in the morning when I found myself scrolling through my Instagram and Twitter feeds (which is a questionable way to start the day). Knowing that daily scrolling was probably not going to change, I decided to change the accounts that I would see everyday, and one that I added and never regretted was the Instagram of Sophia Bush.

The California native recently moved to Chicago to film her tv show, Chicago PD, but you might also recognize her as One Tree Hill's fashionista, Brooke Davis. Besides being a kick-ass character in both of her shows, Bush has also proven herself to be a great example of living in light, laughter, and love. Also, her unique style is so cute, and she makes it so easy for followers to buy the pieces because she tags the designers of her clothes in every. single. photo. And if that isn't enough incentive, handsome men frequently feature on her feed.

Her photos are often a little reminder that love is the most important thing to exist in the world. Not only self-love, but also the love of the people you surround yourself with. Additionally, as she travels from Telluride for some mountain climbing to Uganda for service, she inspires a feeling of adventure and is a manifestation of "what you do shapes what you think". More importantly, she endorses wine as a form of therapy, which I know everyone at the MODA blog can agree with as a life choice.
