Quad Style: Elliot Choi

Hi Elliot! Can you introduce yourself to our readers?
Hello readers! My name is Elliot Choi, and I am currently a third year majoring in political science.

How would you describe your style, and where do you like to shop?
I would describe my style as clean and simple, with just a  touch of flair. Some of my favorite brands are APC, Rag & Bone, Y-3, and Off-White.

Do you have any style inspirations, and if so, who are they?
I just follow a lot of fashion oriented Instagrammers, while celebrity-wise I love the styles of A$AP Rocky, Tyler the Creator, and Young Thug. I also draw a lot of inspiration from fashion trends in Korea.

What is your favorite trend for the winter season?
I am currently in love with turtlenecks and mock necks, especially those with slightly looser necks. They go along really well with most coats and jackets, and can help bring a classier look to your overall outfit.

What do you think is the most important part of any look?
The most important part of any look is making sure it all fits seamlessly. It doesn’t matter the brand or how outlandish your individual articles of clothing might be; as long as the pieces work well with each then the overall outfit will be a success. Too often I’ll see people focus on just one aspect of their outfit at the expense of the rest, when really every single part, even the socks, can play a big role in how you look.
