Music Mondays: Maggie Rogers
A new week means a new Monday of new music, both here on MODA and in your Spotify Discover Weekly. Let this little series add some cool tunes to your ears and start the week on a bright note!
This week features Maggie Rogers, recent college grad from NYU and musician from Maryland. Her uniqueness arises from the sheer production value of her paired music videos and breathy vocals. Rogers was also featured on last year's 10 Rock/Alternative Artists Primed for a Breakout in 2017 from Billboard.

Interestingly, "she rose to fame after her song "Alaska" (a song she wrote in 15 minutes about a hiking trip) was played to Pharrell Williams during a master class at New York University." Since then, Rogers has released EP Now That The Light is Fading and single Split Stones. See below for an example of her stunning videography that complements her lyrics.
