Joffrey Student Tickets

One of the reasons I was most excited about living in Chicago is that I would get to be in the same city as the Joffrey Ballet. The next show in their 2016-2017 program is Global Visionaries, featuring choreography by Yuri Possokhov, and Alexander Ekman. Dancing to music by Bela Bartok, Brad Mehldau Trio, Django Django, Tiga, and Moby, the Joffrey promises to bring “ballet for today – heart-pounding, life-changing stories told by fearless performers and choreographers pushing dance to new heights.” Artistic director Ashley Wheater says that “  in an age of complexity, beauty, rebellion and hope, these works exquisitely express our human condition and represent dance for today’s generations.”
