What's in My Bag: Olinka
Last year a few of our bloggers wrote about the contents of their bags and i'm bringing it back! If you're just as nosy as me and want to go back and stalk previous What's in My Bag posts, you can do so here!
The Bag: Fjallraven 15" Laptop Backpack
I would estimate that around 20% of the people on this campus have some version of this bag (this is a conservative estimate). But the quality of this bag is so worth looking like a stereotypical college student. I like black but if you're more adventurous than me, you can check out all of Fjallraven's cool colors here.
Stationary
There are two types of people in this world: those who never go to class without their all time favorite, probably overpriced, pens and highlighters, and those who will take notes with literally anything that writes (including those tiny wooden pencils nearly sharpened down to the eraser). I belong to the former group, and could probably write a very, very, long post on all of my stationary favorites. But to keep it simple, I'll just shout out the necessitites here. My favorite highlighters by far are the Stabilo Original Boss Pastel highlighters because they dont bleed a lot and are more subtle and subdued than their neon conterparts. As for pens, I love the Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball Stick Pens for their smoothness and dark ink. My favorite notebooks are the Moleskine Cahier Journals because they're sturdier than spiral notebooks and take up less space.
Miscellaneous
Now for the fun (mildly more interesting) stuff! I always keep a non-school-related book in my bag for any twenty minute periods between classes when I don't feel like doing school work. As for everything else, the bottom of my bag is always littered with a constant stream of alternating beauty products, but there are a few products I always, always have. Keeping a perfume rollerball in your bag is essential if you always like to smell good (currently, i'm using through Maison Louis Marie's Bois de Balincourt Perfume Oil). I also keep my Glossier favorites with me at all times: their Stretch Concealer to keep the appearance of dark undereyes at bay and their Balm Dotcom Universal Skin Salve to use as a lip balm.
