Own Your Euro-Chic Sensibilities with EDITED The Label
With the chemistry life taking me to Munich for the summer, I was mostly confined to the pants and lab coat life during the weekdays, and such conformity has infected me with the shopping bug for days when I can wear cool, cute clothes daily again.
Strolling around my favorite, trendy little area of Munich (@Maxvorstadt near LMU, though alas not the LMU High Tech campus where I spend my days), I had stumbled upon a storefront for EDITED The Label and have not looked back in my love for the style and vibes of the brand. Issuing a very unfortunate disclaimer now that shipping is only available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Poland, and the Czech Republic, but hopefully the US will be an option soon!
For those of you globe trotting soon, add EDITED The Label to your European shopping binge list. For those of you stuck in Chicago for school like myself, keep on scrolling for some always needed inspiration for a wardrobe refresh.
What immediately drew me to EDITED was the essence of high fashion and editorial-styled shoots prevalent throughout their entire brand image. Their website features lookbooks for their new collections and their Instagram and Youtube channel offer even more previews and impeccably produced and styled showcases of their clothes.
Here are some of my favorite current looks from their current lookbooks, sure to give you a good dose of fashion inspiration.
WINTER BLOOM
Dark florals for winter (groundbreaking!), paired with deep gem and burnt tones and patterned mismatched with stripes and plaid.
SKATE PARK
Edgy grunge photoshoot meets semi-androgynous patterns (and some silhouettes) to create the ultimate tomboy vibe.
SUMMER OF LOVERS
Dainty florals and cream colors combine for the ultimate breezy and easy look for the now fading summer heat.
In addition to the stationary photoshoot, EDITED also extends the scope of their production to the moving image. These fashion videos all are definitely worth a watch. Quick heads up: their videos with audio tend to be in German but the fashion inspiration pours out none the less.
