Shop: Logan Square Vintage & Thrift Popup
If you’re in Chicago and have been feeling the loss of in-person vintage and thrift shopping as much as I have over the past few months, you’re in luck. Logan Square is home to a lovely farmer’s market on Sunday afternoons in the summer, and, though the market ended early in October this year, it doesn’t disappoint in the fall either.
Smallscale independent vintage and thrift clothing sellers have popped up to replace the farmer’s market, along with people selling jewelry, small-batch specialty alcohol, soap, flowers—all the pop-up market staples.
Biking through Logan Square on my way to Lincoln Park this past Sunday, the music and clothing racks pulled me in. I hadn’t planned to stop, had somewhere else to be in fact, but, being the person I am, I really just had to. The pictures and video don’t do it justice.
If you’re looking for a change of pace from your usual Sunday, look no further. Take a bike, take CTA, go have a lovely crisp fall time supporting local artisans in your mask.
