MODA x SAIC
The first session of the MODA x SAIC mentorship program was this past Friday! This is our second year of partnering with the School of the Art Institute and professor Conrad Hamather.
The mentorship structure between SAIC students and MODA’s student designers will supplement their previous sewing experience with an education in design, concept, theory and history. The goal of the mentorship is for the students to learn how to take an artistic and theoretical approach to developing their existing construction techniques and creative design skills at large.
Three University of Chicago students and designer boot camp alumni, Jena Yang, Kenneth Zheng and Harold Chen, will be participating in this year's program. Keep checking back to track their progress and for any opportunities to see their final projects!
