Passion, Territory, Reflection: MODA Event at Logan

To the naked eye, landscapes are but a fabric—the intricate weavings of land, sky, and sea. Each of these planes is present in the garments skillfully created by each designer included in this exhibition. The elements from each garment emerge from the fabric and create a new landscape.

Join us tomorrow, April 10th, at 6pm in the Logan Center for a night of "passion, territory, and reflection."  MODA presents three capsule collections created by student designers from our Designer Boot Camp program in partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Harrison Yu, Celia Yuen, and Connie Huang will exhibit their design process and final garment pieces for the first time on campus following the runway show last quarter. We will begin the night in the Lower Gidwitz Lobby for a reception hour with drinks. Afterwards, a panel will lead a conversation with University of Chicago students, faculty, and staff about how fashion is approached from a research perspective in Room 201 of the Logan Center's Film Screening Room. The panel will conclude around 8pm and then attendees will be invited to view the MODA designer's work and talk with the students.

We look forward to seeing you!
