This Month in Chicago: December
Apart from the many burdens we face all year, being a UChicago student also comes with its perks. Although Hyde Park is filled with lovely on campus coffee shops and surrounded by many restaurants, they're not the only thing Chicago has to offer.

If you haven’t been to the coziest event in Chicago before, you should definitely give it a try this year. The open air Christmas market offers everything you need in Christmas from delicious hot chocolate, hot wine, delicious pretzels to the cutest stockings and ornaments. The admission is free and the market is open all day long. Make sure to buckle up your winter coat, put on your beanie and gloves and spoil yourself for a day!

The ultimate holiday celebration takes place in Lincoln PARK Zoo with the incredible light show they have every year. You can also do your last minute holiday shopping after enjoying the show.
