Beauty Brand Review: Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet
I recently got the Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick in purple mauve as a gift, and I instantly fell in love. I have been looking for a darker, plum shade to add to my collection, and this definitely makes the cut.
The packaging is quite simple: a red top and a clear bottom (so that you can easily see the color). It's perfect for those lazy girls who don't really want to bother pulling open the top open to see the color. The doe-foot applicator is actually pointed, which makes the application a lot more smooth. You can use the wider end to apply a broad amount but the point makes it easy to get the corners or even line the lips.
The product is buildable, so depending on the look you want, you can go for either a more sheer or opaque matte look. It also lasts several hours, and even passed the (Thanksgiving) food and drink test for me! Personally, I really enjoy liquid lipsticks because they're easy to apply and more user-friendly, and the lip magnet completely embodies this description.
Once on your lips, the product is really lightweight and doesn't smudge too much. However, because it is a matte product, do not forget to wear chapstick underneath or else your dry lip lines might show. Overall though, I think this is super student-friendly and completely worth the somewhat hefty price tag.
