For fans of DIY fashion like myself, The Nava Rose is a mecca of tutorials for the latest trends. Alexa Jade runs her successful YouTube Channel, Blog, and Instagram, spreading her wisdom and DIY expertise on all aspects of fashion, DIY, and beauty.
Her DIY fashion videos are my favorite content she produces, for they are easy to follow and her final products are always flawless. Here are some of my favorite tutorial videos and series on her channel.
Flex On Your Ex // This series shows awesome ways to upcycle male clothing pieces, creating dresses, skirts, and bralettes from any old flannels and boxers. Taking to the thrift store to find these items is also great if you don't want to burn any bridges with pals.
Upcycled Thrift Finds // As a thrifting junkie myself, I live for these type of fashion DIY's. Simply adding patches to anything adds personal flair, and her jumpsuit to matching set tutorial shows more ways to truly repurpose thrift store finds.
Straight DIY's - Fabric to Fab // I am currently very obsessed with my DIY'd faux fur jacket a la Alexa's tutorial and can't wait to try out some other projects with the scrap fabric. The V-Cut Bikini will also be a fun project to try out before the summer time comes around.
Decor DIY's // From Anthropology to the Dollar Store, these DIY's repurpose and upcycle everyday cheap items into stunning decor objects.
