Top 2016 Academy Award Red Carpet Looks
You may be getting post-MODA show blues after the tremendous spectacle of glitter, glam, and gorgeous last Friday - but fret not! This year's Academy Awards red carpet showcased an array of looks, from classic to lacey, that sure grabbed our attention! Here I will review my top choices of red carpet outfits for the night's stars (all photos courtesy of Vogue, featured photo via):
1. Kerry Washington

The Scandal star stuns in a Versace dress and Harry Winston jewelry. The slit in the front with the contrast of black and white of the dress compliments her figure well and ensures an Oscar hit!
2. Leonardo Dicaprio

Arguably the most anticipated appearance of the night, the first-time Academy Award winner (FINALLY) dazzles in a Giorgio Armani suit and Christian Louboutin shoes. Congrats Leo (now you really are "king of the world")!
3. Charlize Theron

This Academy Award winner looked elegantly sleek with this red Dior Haute Couture dress and Harry Winston jewelry. This low-cut, eye popping dress with the elongated necklace placed between the cut accentuates her form perfectly.

Actress and girlfriend of host Chris Rock rocks a Prabal Gurung dress, Irene Neuwirth earrings, and Tamara Mellon shoes. Similar to Washington's slit in the front, but the striking white with the see-through layer on the top half allows an element of grace to enter.

This fashion-forward couple rocked a black Lanvin suit and an elegant navy gown. The singer's hit song "Happy" was nominated for Original Song in 2014, and we know that they are clapping along because "happiness is the truth."
