This Celebrity Line is FIRE

Another teen celebrity has launched her own clothing line? Yawn. Disney stars dabbling in a clothing or cosmetics range (or rather slapping their name on a collection at Kohl's let's be real) are a dime a dozen and rarely impress. However, Zendaya's latest venture, Daya by Zendaya, turns all that on its head. Even if you've long stopped watching Mickey Mouse's channel, the actress/singer/dancer turned designer's collection is full of cool pieces at a reasonable price point.

Wear whatever you want, I’m just going to make (the clothes) and you just decide what you feel comfortable in - that’s what you should be in.
— Zendaya to AOL

The collection includes a wide assortment of clothing and shoes and is size inclusive to boot - going up to an XXL. "I don't think that people shouldn't feel like they can't get their size, because what's the point of making clothes if you can't get them? I want to make clothes that look flattering on my older sister who is a lot thicker than I am - I think she should be just as fly" she told AOL.

The pieces aren't your run of the mill celebrity endorsed body con dresses and floaty tops. Think more Rihanna on a budget - cropped tuxedo blazers, rust colored velvet sweatpants, satin slips, vinyl shirt dresses, and patchwork denim joggers. From tomboys, to streetwear hype beasts, to feminine girly girls, this collection has something for everyone, almost all under $100 with most pieces ringing in under $50.

Her shoe collection also straddles the divide of edgy-cool but also classic with classic stilettos, cute sandals and trendy mules. The line won the Shoe of the Year Award at the 2016 annual Footwear News Achievement Awards.
