Feeds to Follow: @louispisano
I first discovered Louis Pisano in the top comments of a @diet_prada post. One visit to his profile and I knew this writer would be dishing out even more dirt than the eagle-eyed Diet Prada reporters. Per his bio, Mr. Pisano specializes in diversity, fashion, and pop culture. He offers his perspective as a black queer man based in Monaco and Paris, sparing no names in his hilarious fashion memes.
What makes Louis stand out is his refusal to give a free pass to the big names in fashion or even his friends. His stories are a true highlight in my feed; he provides his followers with the thought process behind his cultural commentary and the internal dilemma that comes with calling out oneβs peers. When Iβm not enraged seeing the tomfoolery he exposes (fashion can be exhausting for POC), Iβm laughing out loud, trying my best not to send too many of his memes to my friends.
A look at his story highlights can give you a peek at what Iβm talking about. Some of the most interesting are CDG (youβd really think weβd be done with the hair controversies huh), BlackHistory, and GUCCI RIPOFF. These jam-packed threads may leave you reconstructing your image of some of fashionβs favorite figures.
In addition to great style inspo, following Louis Pisano means staying up to date with the latest fashion mishapsβholding in chuckles and sipping some tea all along the way.
