Artist to Watch: Alessia Cara

These are the first lines of up-and-coming artist Alessia Caracciolo's, better known as Alessia Cara, newest hit single "Here" from her EP album Four Pink Walls. Born in Brampton, Ontario, this 19-year-old artist's soothing and angelic voice will entice you to hear even more! Her singing style has been referred to as smooth blue-eyed soul with a silky voice, and she has been compared to artists such as Farrah Franklin and Adina Howard. Before working with EP Entertainment and Def Jam, Cara had success on Youtube uploading acoustic song covers. "Here", called a "song for everyone who secretly hates parties" by MTV, which has garnered almost 55 million plays on Spotify and 18 million views on its music video, peaked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Her newest album Know-It-All will be released on November 13.
