Though the name may be deceiving, Mindy's Hot Chocolate is so much more than the best cup of cocoa you will ever have. Located in the heart of Wicker Park, the restaurant's homey yet trendy vibe makes for the perfect fancy/casual night out in the city. And of course, is always filled with fast-paced yuppies. With a carefully tailored, seasonal menu, Hot Chocolate never fails to offer our favorite comfort foods with an upscale, modern twist. Staple dishes, such as the luxurious melt-in-your-mouth mac and cheese, are served year-round. Some newer items this season include the crab spaghetti, an innovative take on your classic seafood spaghetti, and stuffed pork loin topped with caramelized shallots, pears, squash, and topped with cider mustard mayonnaise. Are you drooling yet?

After such an exquisite main course it might seem as though your meal can't get any better. Then all of a sudden your waiter will bring the dessert menu and your stomach will manage to make room for more. You quickly realize that dessert is the main event here.
