Stephen and Ayesha Curry: The NBA's Fashion Power Couple
As another NBA season rolls around, I find myself in a similar position every year: obsessing over the Curry family. Their family has been the topic of many conversations on social media because of how gorgeous and adorable they are. Stephen Curry is the point guard of the Golden State Warriors where he won his first championship last season and his wife is Ayesha Curry, former model and current blogger for her website, "little lights of mine". Aside from their own personal accomplishments, many people probably know Stephen and Ayesha Curry as the parents of Riley Curry who consistently steals the show at NBA post-game press conferences.
On and off the court, Stephen Curry has proved himself to be very suave and trendy whether he's sinking three-pointers or attending events. Although much of Stephen Curry's most recent press has been focused on his very successful basketball career, he has also emerged as the face of the Express men's line.
In addition to having her own website and blog, Ayesha Curry is also super fashionable. Ayesha is definitely one of the NBA's newest up-and-coming fashionistas. She always has the perfect look for every occasion, so her Instagram account is easily one of my favorites to follow. It takes nothing for me to spend excessive amounts of time looking through her outfits and trying to replicate them.
Here are a few of my favorite looks:
Ayesha's bright orange maxi dress with the deep v-neck adds the perfect flare of sexy attitude for the sweet, summery weather.
On the left of the three looks pictured below, I love the way Ayesha matches a classic leather jacket with a very feminine skirt, heels, and clutch combo.
In the middle, my favorite part of the outfits are the asymmetrical hem on her dress paired with her heels, accessories, and lipstick color. She looks super classy while still maintaining her edgy and fun style.
Ayesha's choice of a front-zip skirt that does not zip all the way down is a super hot look and the color of the tank top complements the color of the skirt perfectly.
In this picture, Ayesha is wearing a skirt and heels to a basketball game along with a blue leather jacket and yellow Warriors t-shirt to support her husband at his game. I love this look so much because instead of the typical jersey and jeans combo that many wear to basketball games, she struts into the Oracle Arena wearing a pencil skirt and leather jacket.
Ayesha Curry is definitely a style inspiration and both Ayesha and Stephen have styles that are easy to replicate, which is why they are the NBA's fashion power couple.
